Aaron Moss Cohen
Assistant Technical Director & Carpentry Intern
Aaron is a recent graduate of Goucher College with a degree in Theatre and History. He started off acting but slowly switched over to the technical side of theater, focusing on Carpentry, Scenic Design, and Theatre History. He is thrilled to be working at Westport Country Playhouse this summer and thankful to every person at the Playhouse who takes time out of their day to teach him something new. In his spare time, he likes to read science fiction, paint watercolor, and walk his black lab Eve.
Kaylee attends LaGrange College in Georgia and will be a Senior in the Fall. She is a Theatre Arts major and English minor and will graduate in May 2018. Kaylee had constructed costumes for Into the Woods, The Musical Comedy Murders of the 1940s, Little Women, Hansel and Gretel, and Trial by Jury at LaGrange College. She also stage managed and designed costumes for Scenes and Revelations. Her past internships include the Carrollton Cultural Arts Center where she taught children’s theatre classes. Kaylee’s favorite color is yellow, and she dreams of owning a teacup pig.
Justin M. Jones
Justin M. Jones goes to Louisiana Tech University in Ruston, Louisiana, where he is the Promotions and Marketing Director of the Louisiana Tech Department of Theatre. He plans to graduate in the Spring of 2019 with a Master of Arts in Stage Management. He received a Bachelor of Science in Theater Arts with a minor in Counseling Psychology from Bryan College in Dayton, Tennessee. Favorite roles: Prospero (The Tempest), Duke (Big River), Linus (You’re A Good Man, Charlie Brown), Ed Carmichael (You Can’t Take It With You). He is extremely grateful to be working at the Playhouse this summer.
Kaylee is from Columbia, Connecticut, and recently graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre from Fairfield University this past May. Some of her favorite theatre credits include: Constellations by Nick Payne (Director and Co-Producer), Sophokles’s Antigone (Stage Manager), Shakespeare’s The Taming of the Shrew (Baptista), Audience Relations Production Intern at Theatre Fairfield, Marketing/PR Intern at Goodspeed Opera House, and many more! She is very happy to be spending her summer at the Playhouse and is grateful for the connections she is making!
Stage Management Intern
Heather is the Stage Management intern. She is from Bristow, Virginia, and will graduate from Virginia Commonwealth University in May 2019, receiving a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theatre with a concentration in Stage Management, minoring in Sociology and Gender, Sexuality, and Women Studies. Stage Management credits include: Heritage Theatre Festival, Firehouse Theatre, 5th Wall Theatre, TheatreVCU, and Shafer Alliance Laboratory Theatre. She will be working with Virginia Repertory Theatre in the Spring. Heather always appreciates a good bit, can typically be seen watching “RuPaul’s Drag Race,” and her favorite ABBA song is Chiquitita. Her Myers-Briggs is ISFJ.
Carol Ann Rotella
Company Management Intern
Carol attends Montclair State University, studying Theatre. Come September 2018 she will be attending King's College, London, and will graduate in May 2019. Carol was the Company Management Intern at the Alexander Kasser Theatre in Montclair, New Jersey, where she also appeared in a production of The Rape of Lucretia by Benjamin Britten. Carol and fellow artists mounted an original production at Luna Stage in West Orange, New Jersey in the spring of 2018 titled The Orange Project: Lights Up on Education. At MSU Carol played Ann Putnam in Arthur Miller’s The Crucible and directed Seascape with Sharks and Dancer.
Scenic Painter & Properties Intern
Sean is a rising Senior at UMass Amherst, pursuing a duel degree in Theater (BA) and Psychology (BS), focusing in Scenic Design and Performance. Scenic design credits include: Ifa Bayeza’s Infants of the Spring (premier) with the UMass Amherst Department of Theater, as well as student productions of Jesus Hopped the A Train and Anything Goes. UMass Department of Theater performing credits include: Marcus in Donny Johns: a new musical and Clint in Refugee (Director Nikita Milivojević). Sean also Music Directs, plays the piano, and is training as a Dancer! His favorite color is cerulean blue.
Front of House Intern
Kaitlyn is from Lancaster, Ohio, and attends Lee University in Cleveland, Tennessee, as a double Theatre and Business major, graduating in December 2018. She loves the collaborative nature of theatre and enjoys being a part of telling other people’s stories. After college she plans to pursue a career in Theatre Administration in order to continue being a part of this world of art and creation. Kaitlyn is thrilled to have this opportunity at WCP as the start of her theatre journey.
