Monet Hurst-Mendoza

Monet Hurst-Mendoza es un dramaturgo radicado en Nueva York y originario de Los Ángeles, CA. Sus obras han sido desarrolladas con Rising Circle Theatre Collective, Astoria Performing Arts Center, The Flea, WP Theatre, The Public Theatre, Institute of Contemporary Art Boston, Westport Country Playhouse y Long Wharf Theatre, entre otros. Monet es alumno del Emerging Writers Group en The Public Theatre, del R&D Group en The Civilians, del Fresh Ground Pepper's Playground Playgroup, del WP Theatre Playwrights Lab y de la Van Lier Fellowship en New Dramatists. Ha realizado residencias en The MITTEN Lab y SPACE en Ryder Farm. su juego Torero apareció en la Lista Kilroys de 2019 y será producida por The Alley Theatre en Houston, TX en su temporada 2022/2023. Monet es actualmente editor ejecutivo de historias para la temporada 23 de “La ley y el orden: SVU” y miembro del Playwright Collective de Florida Studio Theatre. Ha recibido encargos de Westport Country Playhouse, Florida Studio Theatre y The Kennedy Center. Orgulloso miembro de The Kilroys, The Dramatists Guild y WGAE.
