Shereen Ahmed (she/her) recently starred as Franca in City Center Encore’s production of La luz en la plaza. Other select credits include Broadway/Nat’l Tour: Mi Bella Dama (Eliza); Off-Broadway: Classic Stage Company’s A Man of No Importance (Adele), Irish Rep’s Encuéntrame en San Luis (Esther). On the concert stage, Ahmed made her Carnegie Hall debut in spring 2023 starring as Iolanthe in Gilbert & Sullivan’s Operetta, Iolanthe. She was invited as a guest speaker for the United Nations 14th Conference of States Parties and has been recognized as one of ’40 Under 40′ accomplished Arab Americans in the U.S. for her work in the theatre.
