Taste of Tuesday
Our season subscription series Taste of Tuesday features wine tastings and a sampling of delicious appetizers from one of our incredible local restaurants. Be one of the very first to see the show with this unique season ticket package. The event begins at 6PM, followed by a 7PM curtain. Please note that Taste of Tuesday is designed to be a tasting only. We strongly recommend eating dinner before the event.

Playhouse Happy Hour
New to the Playhouse? Then join us for a pre-show happy hour on the patio! Your $35 show ticket includes food from Fairfield County restaurants, beer and wine tastings, and music. Pre-show party at 6:30PM followed by 8PM show.

Together at the Table
Dinner and a performance for just $10! Together at the Table events make live theater accessible to more families and introduce young audience members to the Playhouse! Families are invited to enjoy a communal dinner starting at 5:30PM and a casual conversation about the show before attending a performance.
At least one family member must be under the age of 18 for this family event. Please call the box office at 203-227-4177 to purchase your Together at the Table tickets.

Following the first Sunday matinee performance of each production, special guests take the stage to help place the production in context with illuminating insights about the world of the play. The Playhouse hosts a wide range of guests, from noted playwrights to academic scholars, for discussions that provide an excellent opportunity to delve into the world of the play. Each discussion is followed by an interactive dialogue with the audience.
All Symposium events are free and open to the public and will begin immediately following the 3PM performance.

If you are hungry for discussion after a thought-provoking performance, you’re in luck. Our Post-Play Dialogues offer audience members the chance to participate in a conversation focused on a topic related to the production and moderated by members of our artistic staff.
Post-Play Dialogues will take place in the Smilow Lounge on the mezzanine level immediately following the first two Thursday evening performances of our season shows and run approximately 30 minutes.

Join us after the second Wednesday matinee performance for a behind-the-scenes look at what makes a play work.
Thursday Cast Talkback
Join us after the third Thursday evening performance of each show for a lively Q&A with actors from the production. The Cast Talkback takes place in Jason Robards Theatre immediately following the performance and typically runs about 20-25 minutes.
