1/28/10 - Hartford Courant - Lamos Directs Reading
Mark Lamos, artistic director of the Westport Country Playhouse, will stage a reading of "You Can't Take It with You," featuring Oscar-winner F. Murray Abraham ("Amadeus"), for The Acting Company in New York on Monday, Feb. 8, 7 p.m. at Playwrights Horizons, 416 West 42nd St., New York. The reading of George S. Kaufman and Moss Hart's 1937 Pulitzer Prize-winner will also feature Matt Amendt, Casey Biggs, Patricia Conolly, Stephen DeRosa, Harriet Harris, Pamela Nyberg, Angela Pierce, David Schramm and Andrew Weems.
Lamos will direct the opening musical production for Westport's 80th season, "She Loves Me," April 20 through May 8.
