Shanahan and Maulella Will Be Caught in Tryst, a Romantic Thriller, in Westport, CT

Joe Brancato, who directed Karoline Leach's romantic thriller Tryst Off-Broadway, will stage the play at Westport Country Playhouse in Connecticut for an Aug. 5-23 run.
The cast features Mark Shanahan as George Love, a dashing swindler "who has a habit of marrying plain, well-off women who become inexplicably poor and husbandless the day after their honeymoon." In London to con his next bride, he happens upon Adelaide (played by Andrea Maulella), "a lonely milliner's assistant who is sitting on a small nest egg."
