An Emmy Award-winning actor for his work on "thirtysomething", Timothy Busfield currently serves as an executive producer and resident director of NBC's "Lipstick Jungle". Busfield has been a regular or recurring character on numerous television series including "All My Children", "Reggie", "The Paper Chase", "Family Ties", "Trapper John, M.D.", "The Byrds of Paradise", "Champs", "The West Wing", "Ed" and "Without a Trace". Busfield has appeared in over 30 feature films and television movies, including Stripes; Revenge of the Nerds; Revenge of the Nerds II: Nerds in Paradise; Field of Dreams; Sneakers; Quiz Show; Striking Distance; Little Big League; First Kid and National Security. Busfield also directed series such as "thirtysomething", "Sports Night", "Ed", "Las Vegas", "Without a Trace" and "Studio 60". In addition to directing over 60 episodes of television, Busfield has served as co-executive producer on two series, "Ed" and "Without a Trace". As a theater actor, he has appeared in over 50 plays, including the Broadway productions of Neil Simon's Brighton Beach Memoirs and Aaron Sorkin's A Few Good Men. He has also directed over 25 theater productions and has produced over 100 professional theater productions. He founded two of the nation's most productive new works theaters; the Fantasy Theatre (named Honorary State Children's Theatre of California), founded in 1986, touring to more than 140,000 Northern California children a year, and the highly respected and awarded B. Street Theatre, founded in 1992, which has premiered original or West Coast productions by Sorkin, Morris Panych, Joe DePietro, James McLure, Jane Martin, Jeff Daniels, Kenneth Lonergan and many other world-class playwrights.

Helen Stenborg is happy to be working with Tim Busfield again after 22 years! She last appeared on Broadway in The Crucible with Liam Neeson and Laura Linney. Prior to that, she appeared in Waiting in the Wings, receiving a Tony nomination. She and her husband, Barnard Hughes, were honored with Lifetime Achievement Awards from the Drama Desk in 2000. Other Broadway credits include A Month in the Country with Helen Mirren, and A Life. Helen toured the country in Da. Off-Broadway: Pulitzer Prize-winning Wit with Kathleen Chalfant. Many plays with Circle Rep including the original productions of Lanford Wilson's Hot L Baltimore, The Fifth of July and Talley and Son, for which she won an Obie. Many films including the Oscar-winning, Her Mother Dreams and the soon-to-be-released Doubt, and On the Hook with Frank Langella and Elliot Gould. Extensive work in television and regional theatre including 16 seasons at the O'Neill Playwrights Conference.
