Dereje Tarrant is a senior at Pierrepont School in Westport, CT. This is his first Westport Country Playhouse performance. Just back from his Comedy debut at USC’s School of Dramatic Arts Summer Comedy Performance Program, past credits include playing King Arthur in SPAMALOT and Minstrel in SOMETHING ROTTEN at French Woods Festival of the Performing Arts. Dereje has been acting professionally since age nine and has guest starred on CBS’s “Bull” and appeared in numerous commercials. Dereje also voiced the lead role of Jordan in School Trip by Jerry Craft, which won a 2024 Top 5 Middle Grade Audie Award.
