The Technical Director (TD) reports directly to the Director of Production and supervises the activities of all technical departments and manages the use and maintenance of theater equipment. The TD works in close cooperation with other members of the technical staff as well as with other key departments to implement the institution’s programs in support of its mission and values.

Throughout the year, the Playhouse produces a mainstage season of three mainstage productions and 2 to 3 “add-on” productions. Additionally, WCP presents concerts, comedians, kids shows, films, and readings, as well as rental events on the Playhouse stage.

The Playhouse is looking to hire a Business Associate (BA) who will support the financial management and daily administrative operations of Westport Country Playhouse.  The BA will report directly to the Director of Finance and will be responsible for the day-to-day administration of the theater’s Accounts Payable and Receivable, Payroll processing, office supply ordering, and will serve as an important representative of the theater by receiving visitors and callers. The BA will work closely with all members of the staff to implement WCP’s policies in support of its mission and values.

The Playhouse seeks a part-time Box Office Associate. The Associate will assist with the day-to-day functions of our Box Office including answering phones, selling subscriptions and tickets to Playhouse events through our ticketing software. The Associate will assist with ticket and promotional mailings, and other duties as assigned.

Westport Country Playhouse seeks personable, customer-minded, and confident individuals to work in the concessions stand. Job responsibilities include restocking concession stand if necessary, selling food and beverages (including alcohol) pre-show and during intermission, and keeping an accurate inventory and records of daily sales.

The Assistant House Managers (AHMs) report to the House and Events Manager (HEM) and are responsible for serving as House Manager for most performances at the Playhouse. The AHM will arrive two hours prior to curtain to ensure spaces are audience ready and will then supervise concessions, ushers, and parking attendants during their shifts. AHM must be available to work nights and weekends.
