The Shores Mental Health is a specialized behavioral health campus in Westport, Connecticut, and part of Hartford HealthCare’s St. Vincent’s Medical Center. Situated on more than 50 scenic acres, The Shores provides comprehensive inpatient mental health and substance use treatment for adults, adolescents, and children in a peaceful, healing environment. The facility serves individuals experiencing a wide range of behavioral health needs, including depression, anxiety, trauma-related disorders, acute psychiatric conditions, and co-occurring substance use disorders. Programs and services include acute inpatient psychiatric care, specialized mood, anxiety and trauma programs, child and adolescent inpatient services, substance use treatment, individual and group therapies, family support, psychiatric and medical evaluations, and holistic therapies designed to support emotional, social, and clinical recovery. Through its Welcome Center, patients and families can access confidential assessments, guidance, and referrals to determine the most appropriate level of care, helping individuals connect quickly with the support they need.
