The Director of Development (DD) will be responsible for all aspects of the Playhouse’s fundraising efforts and will serve as the point of contact for donors of all levels. The DD reports to the Managing Director (MD) and works closely with the MD, Artistic Director (AD), and Board of Trustees to develop and deploy strategies to identify, research, cultivate, and steward donor relationships. The DD serves as staff liaison to Board development and fundraising committees.

The current contributed income goal is $2.5million, or 53% of the Playhouse’s annual income. Our expectancy for this position is to scale the department and raise enough money to add support staff within the coming 18 to 24 months.

The Business Associate (BA) will support the financial management and daily administrative operations of Westport Country Playhouse.  The BA will report directly to the Director of Finance and will be responsible for the day-to-day administration of the theater’s Accounts Payable and Receivable, Payroll processing, office supply ordering, and will serve as an important representative of the theater by receiving visitors and callers. The BA will work closely with all members of the staff to implement WCP’s policies in support of its mission and values.

The Playhouse seeks a part-time Box Office Associate. The Associate will assist with the day-to-day functions of our Box Office including answering phones, selling subscriptions and tickets to Playhouse events through our ticketing software. The Associate will assist with ticket and promotional mailings, and other duties as assigned.

Westport Country Playhouse seeks personable, customer-minded, and confident individuals to work in the concessions stand. Job responsibilities include restocking concession stand if necessary, selling food and beverages (including alcohol) pre-show and during intermission, and keeping an accurate inventory and records of daily sales.

The Assistant House Managers (AHMs) report to the House and Events Manager (HEM) and are responsible for serving as House Manager for most performances at the Playhouse. The AHM will arrive two hours prior to curtain to ensure spaces are audience ready and will then supervise concessions, ushers, and parking attendants during their shifts. AHM must be available to work nights and weekends.
