Hannah Bakke (she/her) is an actor, playwright, composer, and teaching artist. Recent credits include Ghost Quartet (Theatre Elision), Once Upon a Mattress and Escape to Margaritaville (Old Log Theatre), and The Wedding Singer (Lyric Arts). She’s most excited by work that features actor-instrumentalists, guitar-based composition, queer stories where queerness is not the source of conflict, and musicals centering women. Hailing from Minneapolis, MN, Hannah often tours rural Wisconsin with Danville; a family folk band consisting of her aunt, uncle, cousin, and sister. Hannah’s original musical, The Garden, is set to be produced this summer with the Minneapolis Children’s Theatre Company’s Triple Threat Teen Intensive.
