Heidi Armbruster

Heidi appeared at Westport Country Playhouse in The Dining Room (2013), a gala honoring playwright A. R. Gurney (2014), and a Script in Hand playreading of The Mousetrap (2014). Mrs. Christie: Theatreworks Silicon Valley, Dorset Theatre Festival, Primary Stages (workshop), Orchard Project (residency). Dairyland: Playmakers Rep, Chautauqua Theater Festival, and workshops at Playhouse on ParkPrimary StagesThe LarkLuna Stage.  Scarecrow: Next Act, Dorset Theatre Festival, Weidner Center.  Murder Girl will make its world premiere in the fall of 2024 at Forward Theater in Madison, WI, after workshops with Forward Theater Company TAP, and Kansas City Rep.  Heidi was commissioned by Hudson Valley Shakespeare Festival to adapt Agatha Christie’s The Murder of Roger Ackroyd, which will premiere in their 2024 season.  Heidi was a member of the Working Farm at Space on Ryder Farm, Page 73 Interstate Writers, and a founding member and co-curator of Dorset Theatre Festival’s Women Artists Writing.

As an actress, Heidi has extensive New York and regional theater credits, including “Time Stands Still” on BroadwayLincoln Center’s production of the Pulitzer Prize winning play “Disgraced,” the New York premieres of Sam Hunter’s “Lewiston/Clarkston” at Rattlestick, Anna Ziegler’s “Boy” at Keen Company, Tracy Letts’ “Man from Nebraska” at Second Stage, and Theresa Rebeck’s “Poor Behavior” at Primary Stages.  Heidi was awarded a Drama League Nomination for her work in the Keen Company’s revival of “Tea and Sympathy.”  Heidi’s Film and TV credits include Deadringers, Evil, Pose, Divorce, The Deuce, Tommy, Daredevil, Ray Donovan, The Blacklist, Blue Bloods, 30 Rock, House of Cards, Michael Clayton, Revolutionary Road, Come Find Me, Incurable, Poor Behavior, My Man Is A Loser, The Northern Kingdom, Michelle on Darren Star’sYounger, Karen on Netflix’s Partner Track, and Noelle on Manifest.
