A Place For Us is a celebration of Jewish culture, honoring the songs and stories of Jewish composers and their crucial contributions to the American Musical. While there are many stories in the world about Jewish suffering, there are fewer stories about Jewish life and vitality.

Ari is thrilled to be returning to Westport for an encore performance of A Place For Us. The show was presented in 2023 to a SOLD OUT house as our first Mic in Hand, a spin-off of our Script in Hand series. This year, it will include even more songs and musicians! Whether you’re seeing it again or for the first time, this internationally acclaimed, award-winning show is one not to miss!
The Jewish Week awarded Ari the prestigious “36 To Watch Award,” recognizing him as one of the 36 most influential Jews in The United States. A Place For Us was hailed by BroadwayWorld as “genuinely one of the finest shows this writer has ever seen.”
All are welcome to join a special post-show talkback with ADL Connecticut Regional Director Stacey Sobel, in conversation with Ari Axelrod, to explore inspiration for the show and its relevance amidst increased levels of hate and antisemitism nationwide.
