Unearthing: A Storytelling Workshop

Calling all curious and creative high school students in New Haven and Fairfield Counties!

Join the collaborators from our 2020 THRIVE summer camp for a writing and performance workshop! We’ll be exploring the theme of discovery — unearthing what we have learned about ourselves and the world around us during the pandemic.

This workshop will be co-facilitated by Salwa Abdussabur and Aaron Jafferis from The Word. These two artists will guide students in sharing their stories, their passion, and help them to set intentions for future opportunities and change in our communities.

This day is FREE and NO experience is necessary — just bring yourself! Lunch will be served.

This event is brought to you by Westport Country Playhouse, Long Wharf Theatre, the Shubert Theater, The Community Foundation for Greater New Haven, and the Neighborhood Leadership Program.
