WHAT Critics say about the show

Remixes Doyle and Dickens into a clever, crowd-pleasing holiday comedy that happens also to be a murder mystery. A streamlined affair looking for and, crucially, finding silly, festive fun. There is a shortage lately of plays to make us laugh... here's one."

The New York Times

Quality stuff, performed with total commitment and aplomb by a cast of top-shelf pros. The writer-director Mark Shanahan cleverly entwines Doyle’s and Dickens’s tropes until it feels like they were meant to coexist in the same pan-Victorian universe. The merger is funny, much more homage than parody."
