Director of Finance

Compensation: $75,000
Full-time, exempt

The Director of Finance will be responsible for the strategic and logistical management of the areas of accounting, budgeting and forecasting, financial reporting, audits, cash management, payroll, and benefits administration and will manage the HR/Finance Associate. The Director of Finance will be a strategic confidante of the Managing Director and will work closely with other senior staff and members of the Board of Trustees to implement the theater’s programs in support of its mission. As a member of the senior management team, the Director of Finance will be expected to provide tactical direction for those areas of responsibility and contribute to the overall management of the theater.

Director of Advancement

Compensation: $75,000
Full-time, exempt

The Director of Advancement (DA) will be responsible for all aspects of the Playhouse’s fundraising efforts and will serve as the primary point of contact for donors of all levels. The DD reports to the Managing Director (MD) and works closely with the MD, Artistic Director (AD), and Board of Trustees to develop strategies to identify, research, cultivate, and maintain donor relationships. The DA serves as staff liaison to Board development and fundraising committees.

Concessionaire

Compensation: $15 per hour
Part-time, hourly

Westport Country Playhouse seeks personable, customer-minded, and confident individuals to work in the concessions stand. Job responsibilities include restocking concession stand if necessary, selling food and beverages (including alcohol) pre-show and during intermission, and keeping an accurate inventory and records of daily sales.

Assistant House Manager

Compensation: $20 per hour
Part-time, hourly

The Assistant House Managers (AHMs) report to the House and Events Manager (HEM) and are responsible for serving as House Manager for most performances at the Playhouse. The AHM will arrive two hours prior to curtain to ensure spaces are audience ready and will then supervise concessions, ushers, and parking attendants during their shifts. AHM must be available to work nights and weekends.
