Norwalk Metropolitan Youth Ballet
proudly presents our 5th Anniversary Gala, Stars of Tomorrow.
Friday, February 22 at 8PM
Join us for this celebratory performance which showcases the accomplishments of all our students! Apprentice Ensemble and Ensemble Etoile will be performing a few of the pieces they will be presenting at Youth America Grand Prix, the world’s largest student scholarship ballet competition. Solos, small ensembles, large ensembles, and dancers of all ages will take the stage to present their pieces in this epichoreography showcase.
The stars of NMYB will be joined by professional dancers from Pennsylvania Ballet. Principal Dancer Sterling Baca, and Soloist Nayara Lopes, will also be presenting choreography which will surely inspire and excite the imaginations of our dancers as well as our audience.
Come for the dancing, stay for the champagne reception! Be sure to get your ticket to attend the celebrity meet and greet with Sterling and Nayara and share a toast with us to a wonderful 5th Anniversary of ballet bliss with Norwalk Metropolitan Youth Ballet.

Join us for a free community event featuring a keynote address by James Forman, Jr., winner of the 2018 Pulitzer Prize for Non-Fiction for Locking Up Our Own: Crime and Punishment in Black America, with performances by Norwalk's Serendipity Chorale and students from Regional Center for the Arts in Trumbull. A moderated audience Q&A will follow Mr. Forman's address, and a reception and book signing will take place in the Playhouse lobby after the program.
