Sophia Vellotti
Sophia Vellotti is a fifteen year old musician, student, and activist. She expresses herself through visual arts and music. She began studying her main instrument, cello, at the age of eight, and has played ever since. Sophia is a principal-level cellist for the Greater Connecticut Youth Orchestra, where she’s had the opportunity to teach students, learn from experts, and play in concerts such as a full performance of the oratorio Carmina Burana. Her hobbies include playing electric and bass guitar, reading, astrology, researching, or embracing her ethnically diverse cultures and traditions with family and friends.

Sofia Schaffer
Sofia Schaffer, a resident of Ridgefield, is a sophomore at Hopkins School in New Haven. She is on the school’s Library Board and Summer Reading Guide Committee, and she co-runs the school’s Art Club. In her free time, Sofia enjoys reading and writing fantasy novels and singing show tunes. She is very excited to be a part of the Westport Country Playhouse Youth Council this year and looks forward to the opportunity to have an impact on the community.

Charly Peter
Charly Peter is a resident of Stamford and is a sophomore at Westhill High School. She is the youngest member of the school’s award-winning theater club board. Past credits include Shape of the Grave (the Finder) and Harry Potter (Hermione). In her free time, she is a writer and a freelance makeup artist. She is also an indie musician and releases her music on Soundcloud under the name charly ella.

Joelle Singer Jensen
Joelle Singer Jensen is resident of Greenwich and is a junior at Greenwich High School. She is an Honors Theater Student, Improv Troupe Leader, and a member of Thespian Troupe 243. Past credits include: The Pajama Game (Babe), The Winter’s Tale (Hermione), You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown (Lucy), Twelfth Night (Malvolio) and The Apollo of Bellac (Agnes). Joelle is also a member of the Leadership Council at Open Arts Alliance.

Shea Frimmer
Shea Frimmer is currently a freshman at Weston High School and a devoted member of the WHS Company. Some of their favorite prior credits include: Fun Home (Christian), Alice in Wonderland (Mad Hatter), and Into the Woods (Jack). In addition to performing, Shea loves being behind the scenes. They’ve worked in musical direction, video and audio editing, direction, choreography, sound operation, box office, and lots more. They are thrilled to be a part of the WCP Youth Council!

Sophia DelGaudio
Sophia DelGaudio lives in Fairfield and is a junior at Fairfield Ludlowe High School. She is in the French Honors Society, and is in the Fairfield Youth For Equity club as well as the drama club at school. Past credits include Hello, Dolly! (ensemble), Rock of Ages (Justice), and A Midsummer Night’s Dream (Peaseblossom). Sophia volunteered for the Biden campaign and is currently volunteering for the Ossoff and Warnock campaigns. Sophia loves music and her favorite band is The Smiths.

Kate Davitt
Kate Davitt is a resident of Westport and is a junior at Staples High School. She is currently a Crew Head for the sets department of Staples Players and is also a member of the run crew. She has constructed sets and executed scene changes for shows such as Legally Blonde, Mamma Mia, and Seussical. Kate is also a member of the National Charity League, where she provides philanthropic support to local organizations such as Person to Person, Homes with Hope, Caroline House and the Westport Public Library.

Nate Cohen
Nate Cohen is 15 years old, and a sophomore at Ridgefield High School. He enjoys sailing, drawing, and science. Recently, Nate was nominated for a HOBY Leadership Award. Favorite credits include: Pippin, Into the Woods, Evita, Godspell, and Legally Blonde. Nate is so excited to be a part of the Westport Youth Council, and can’t wait to help make the Playhouse a better place!
