Melanie Wyler, a 40-year resident of Westport/Weston, worked in public relations and marketing. As a member of the board of the Women’s Refugee Commission, she visited refugee camps around the globe to document conditions and advocate for women and children. Since retiring, she’s volunteered with organizations in Bridgeport to support and connect with Refugee, Immigrant and Undocumented families. She’s a member of The Unitarian Universalist Congregation in Westport, active in their social justice and interfaith work.
