The Tony Award winner Ali Stroker takes the Playhouse stage!
July 24
An Evening with Ali Stroker
Ali won the 2019 Tony Award for Best Featured Actress in a Musical for her breakoout role as Ado Annie in Rodgers and Hammerstein’s Oklahoma!, and made history as the first actor in a wheelchair to appear on Broadway in Deaf West’s acclaimed 2015 revival of Spring Awakening.
About our Cabaret in the Robards series
Cabaret in the Robards is a series of special performances to benefit the Playhouse as we begin re-opening our campus and bringing audiences back into Jason Robards Theatre. Each star will bring their own unique show to the stage, featuring music, song, comedy — and talent. Sure to re-inspire your love of live theater after a long year without it, these cabarets are not to be missed!

Your safety is our top priority.
Before entering the theater, or any indoor space, we will require all Playhouse staff, volunteers and audience members to provide proof that they have been vaccinated. Please bring your vaccination card (you may bring a copy or a picture of it on your phone) or provide other proof such as a travel app or documentation from your health provider. We will have additional staff members on hand so that the process will move quickly and smoothly.
We also understand that there are those amongst our community who will not be vaccinated. These folks are still welcome to attend, we simply require that they wear a mask.
Masks will be provided for those who forget to bring their own or do not have their proof of vaccination status available.
You can find a full list of all our COVID-19 health & safety protocols here.
