Press play on 2021!
The Playhouse has been on pause since March because of the pandemic, but we’ll be up and running in 2021 with the productions originally scheduled for 2020 — the groundbreaking musical Next to Normal; a new comedy perfect for a post-quarantine world, Tiny House; the premiere of Ain’t Misbehavin’ reimagined by Camille A. Brown; and the seductive drama, Blues for an Alabama Sky. New to the schedule is the Pulitzer and Tony Award-winning Doubt: A Parable.
And while our regular roles are to cast, design, direct, rehearse, and get the theater ready for audiences, we have our community foremost in our minds. We will be listening to the science and may move the productions outdoors and online. Whatever we do, your comfort and safety is our number one priority, and you will have five fulfilling and memorable experiences with the Playhouse.
If you had purchased a season ticket package for the postponed 2020 season and wish to renew for 2021, you have until December 20, 2020 to guarantee your seat locations. New season ticket packages are also now on sale to the general public.
